I found this shoe to be very comfortable for my plantar fasciitis. I have been wearing it as an “in the house only” shoe. However, I’m very disappointed with the durability. Although the shoe itself is holding up well, the “painted on” surface wore off of the toes within one week! Plus, the soles squeak on my hardwood floors.

I’m so glad I found these shoes! I LOVE them. I’ve been dealing with chronic foot pain (metatarsalgia) for 9 months and after 2 days in these shoes it was gone. They’re way more comfortable than Dansko’s. The insert has tremendous cushion. The heel is stable (I don’t roll my ankle like I always did in my Danskos). I’m not super keen on their color schemes, but they have some neutral colors so it’s ok 😉 Also, I found that the US and Euro sizes didn’t necessarily correspond. I am usually a 39/8.5 but these were sized as Euro 39 (US 9-9.5). Overall I highly recommend them, just watch the sizing.

I absolutely love the look of these shoes. I wanted them to fit, but the 36 was too small and the 37 were just too lose. I’m going to try again with a slightly different style of this brand. They are well-made, with cute designs to suit any taste and color needs, flashy or subtle. I normally wear a 61/2 or a 7 and I just couldn’t seem to get these to fit right. I tried them with and without socks because I would like to have that flexibility. They are comfortable either way, just not suited to my foot.

Cute shoe but it doesn’t fit. I normally take a size 6 in shoes and 6.6 in sneakers. I have since learned Alegria has different sizing depending on the style shoe. It’s crazy they have 2 size charts. Just standing in the shoe I could tell it was very comfortable. I did not exchange because I thought it looked more like a winter shoe than a spring shoe. If I can somehow figure out sizing I may try another style.
By the way, Zappos you are the best! Fast efficient service and when ever I have had to talk to someone in customer service they have been so nice. You are unique. I wish every company was just like you.

These shoes are great for a 12 hour shift! The band on top is much more forgiving if you have high arches like me, so it’s a plus because I don’t get bruises on the tops of my feet like I did in my danksos, but also the arch support isn’t as high as it is in a dansko clog, if that helps for reference. These are cute though, and much less likely to roll your ankle when running to a code or something 🙂

I ordered two pairs of Allegria shoes, the Keli and the Kayla, both size 8 wide. I cannot believe the difference in the fit of the two
styles of shoes.
This shoe, the Keli, felt wider and overall bigger than an 8 wide. The shoe was too big for me.
I also ordered the Kayla in wide. That shoe felt smaller and definitely narrower than a regular 8 wide. I have a high instep and wide feet. The Kayla was so tight across the top of my foot even just trying it on walking around my carpeted bedroom for a short time left marks on the top of my foot. That shoe had to go back.
The Kayla fit totally differently. It also has inset small pieces of elastic on the top sides of the shoe, easing the fit. The Kayla did not have these elastic inserts.
However, this shoe (the Keli) was much too big and wider than I expected.

This is the second pair the first one was too large and this one is too small. I really liked the style and design and am bummed out that these won’t fit. This pattern could be dressed up or casual.

Great for working all day on your feet. They do have that weird thing where they work your socks down when walking. Ok with tight-ankle running socks or knee-high socks.

I like the look of this shoe — I purchased the leopard print — and was really hoping that I would have a comfortable slip-on. But the fit is weird — at least on me. The toe was tight while the heel is loose. These slip off my heel like clogs and will simply pull down a sock or wear a hole in my skin. The support was really good so I am sad that I had to send them back.

While the size is listed as 7-7.5, they do not accommodate size 7.5. I always wear a size 7.5, these are truly just whole sizes. I also have a narrow foot and the width was fine – wider through the toe, as expected. However my toes were squished up against the toe of the shoe. I like the whole shoe vs the clog/mule, it would do well on rainy days. The sole is nice and grippy, the insole is very comfy and the colors are as pictured – very cute. Too bad these don’t accommodate half sizes!

I think Zappos was influenced by the preponderance of reviews that said these run large, and recommended I try the 37 size. Having read the reviews myself, I tended to agree. I have always worn a 38 in Allegria shoes and have many pairs of them. When the 37’s arrived, they were too small for me and as always Zappos makes returns and exchanges easy, so I reordered them in a 38 and they are perfect like all my other Allegrias. I agree with the reviews that said the profile is lower than Danskos and less risky for twisting an ankle, so I love that feature. Yes, the heel is a little loose, but I have extremely small ankles and heels so that doesn’t bother me at all. In winter I may wear a thin sock with them, but now only pantyhose. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Cherry color and the toe box doesn’t look as wide and clunky as my other Allegrias, yet still have plenty of toe box room now that I have the right size. In my case, I have an extra long 2nd toe so always need a 38 for my 7 1/2 size foot. I also have fairly high arches, but like the arch support VERY much in all my Allegrias.

Size feels great! Slightly roomy, but in a comfortable way – not too loose, not too tight. There is a little room for thick socks, as well, once it starts getting colder. I don’t necessarily recommend ankle socks, as they seem to slip down throughout the day. They feel essentially like a cloud, but sometimes I feel my feet a bit at the end of the day (I am a vet assistant and am on my feet for 8-10 hours, per day). I’d recommend maybe adding a little insert, which is what I am planning to do.

Well, it was not a great fit. I was not even able to get into the shoe. I am usually a size around 6.5 and had ordered the size 36 in wide as recommended.
The leather is very hard and I also did not like the shine. Otherwise it looked like a well made shoe. But, they had to go back.

I love Allegria and this purchase was not a disappointment. Right out of the box they fit perfectly. Oh every time I wear a pair I get great comments. They are unique And well made. The arch support filled in is great for my flat feet.I intend to wear all black and then these eye-catching red shoes. Keep it up Allegria!
And overall I gave them a five in every category because there is no 10.

The shoes are sturdy and made for walking. However, the left shoe has a very annoying loud squeak when I walk. It is a structural issue and is unlikely to go away with use. I have only tested in the house and plan to return. I do not think I will enjoy the shoes with this problem.

This shoe is a little more narrow than the style with the out side stitching around the shoe, which I like as it feels like the toe box is a little wider. Otherwise the shoe is well made. The heel does slip a bit, but my concern is the narrower toe box.

Super comfortable footbed & arch, and leather lining which is so important for comfort! These feel good right out of the box. Well-made and very stable to walk on — I had to give up my Danskos because too many ‘ankle rolls’ so was looking for similar closed-back clog with a safer, lower sole design. I am a first-time buyer of Alegria shoes and had a bit of a challenge finding an acceptable fit — I usually wear 37 but the Keli 37 slips on my heels. 36’s heel was perfect but my toes hit the end of the shoe. Because these clogs are so comfortable and high-quality, I decided to keep the 37 and have added heel inserts to minimize slippage.
