I bought this shoe because I wanted something comfortable to wear and, a shoe that will go with anything. I bought the color t the block party. The shoe feels true to size. Has excellent arch support. I love Algeria shoes are so comfy. To me they feel more comfortable then Danskos or Birkenstocks. I have foot problems and understood this shoe was an orthotic shoe. Not very good support, however they do have a removable foot bed, so I’m going to try and replace it with one with more support. Hopefully that will work. It’s also a little tight in the toe, if I order a larger size it will be too big.

I was reluctant to order these because I usually only wear Vionic shoes with the built in orthotics, but I really do like the Alegria Kayla Delicut! They are comfortable and provide the right amount of support. I wear a women’s 11, and the 42 is perfect. The Delicut design adds just a bit of dressiness, but I wear them for casual too. It was an added bonus that they were on sale!

This is my third pair of Alegria Kayla clogs. It is the only style that works for me. I have wide feet, and my usual size is a 10 women’s. I size up with these shoes, and get a size 42. It’s perfect for me. I’m an OR nurse, on my feet quite a bit. These are the most comfortable work shoes I’ve ever had!

I ordered a 42 Wide in the Kayla and it fit my foot well. It would have been perfect for my duck foot with just a smidge more width in the toe box. I will be returning these – not because of the fit – that was close enough I would have kept the shoes and hoped for a little stretch during break-in. I am returning these for two style reasons: the black Nappa leather how has the elastic gusset on the side although the images on Zappos show the shoe without elastic; the light tan leather used for the lining was not properly rolled under the edge of the top front of the shoe and was very visible when wearing the shoes. I tried them on with black socks and looked down to see a very noticeable light tan line across the top of my foot. It was also visible from the side – see attached pictures. Not what I want for a shoe that needs to office-appropriate. If the shoe had been properly made so the lining leather wasn’t visible – or was color matched to the shoe upper, I would have rated these 5 for style and 5 overall. Since Alegria quality control passed this pair of shoes, I subtracted stars.

These shoes are so comfortable right out of the box. I usually take a 39 in Alegria. At first I thought they might be a little snug. But 40 was too big. After wearing them around the house about 10 minutes they no longer seemed snug. The shoes slip on & off easily. I have worn Dansko for years because of my plantar fasciitis but they feel hard after standing or walking all day. In these my feet still feel cushioned at the end of the day. I love these shoes.

This is a nice clog, and I am glad to find a brand that offers wide widths. As others have noted, the wide-width version has an elastic gusset on the interior sides. In terms of aesthetics, not my favorite feature, but it does allow me to wear with socks of various thickness. I have flat feet and found the moderate arch support wasn’t quite enough for me. I added Dr. Foot adhesive arch supports and that did the trick (I use them in most of my shoes). My job requires me to spend much of the day on my feet on hard floors. I’ve worn these at work for about a week now and find them to be a good and supportive shoe.

The leather on the elastic gore cut into my ankle. So sad to return. I had a pair two years ago without the gore, wore them everyday and loved them! Bring back the older style!!!

I love the Alegria Kayla clogs. I have been an OR nurse for almost 30 years and this style is the only one I wear now. I have purchased many of them, and I enjoy the different colors and patterns they come out with. In the operating room, our scrubs are always blah (everyone’s wearing the same color), and I always get compliments on the nice colors/patterns (I’ve never ordered the plain leather Kaylas, so I cannot comment on their fit/comfort). They are always comfortable, with no break-in period required. I am a US size 10 in regular shoes, and have wide feet, and I always order the size 42 Kayla, and it is always a perfect fit! I will continue to purchase this style, it is the perfect work shoe for me!

I purchased this shoe as a potential replacement for the Merrell Encore clogs I have worn for years. Unfortunately, Merrell changed the design of the Encore clog enough so that it no longer works for me. I had high hopes for the Alegria Kayla clogs. I have to say that I am impressed with their quality relative to the Merrell Encore clogs. Though the Alegria clogs cost a bit more I think they would be worth it if they worked for my feet, which unfortunately they do not. For me, the overall fit was loose and sloppy especially around the collar and heel area. A half size smaller might work but with Euro sizing, this isn’t a possibility. The other thing to be aware of is that the the removable insoles are quite thick when compared to orthotics made by a podiatrist or over-the-counter insoles such as those made by Superfeet. A simple swap isn’t possible.

I really love the style and look of these, however my only other Alegria shoes are the Keli Professionals, I wear a 39 in those, The Kayla 39 runs large, since they don’t have my color in the 38 I am keeping the 39s, just wearing them with heavy socks, the Casual Friday color is just to pretty to return!!!

I love the Alegria Kayla clog.. The only issue with this color (Casual Friday) is that I thought the sole was black.. nice details, gray and aqua but the sole is navy blue.. I wear mostly black and gray scrubs. not sure if I will keep them bc of this.

They are cute but these are just a tad too small/tight for my feet. I wear an 8-8.5. These are a size 38. So I’m gonna go with the 39.

When I first took them out of the box, I thought they looked too big. They weren’t but they were too stiff. I’m going to keep them for a few days to see if they loosen up. I also may order a size up.

I really wanted to love this shoe. The leather is really soft and the foot bed felt very comfortable. The problem was the width. I need a wide toe box, but the entire shoe was very wide and my heel slipped. I work retail on my feet, climbing stairs in our stock room 9 hours per day, and just didn’t feel confident that I wouldn’t trip on the stairs. I am returning these, and trying something with a strap to hold my foot in place. Several of my co-workers wear Alegria and love them.

These clogs are very comfortable and look great. I have to return them only because I have an issue with my right foot and these are not quite right because of it. It seems that Birkenstocks are the best for me. But I would definitely recommend these if you are looking for good support in an everyday clog.

I have not worn these shoes yet but they felt comfortable and true to size when I tried them on. I plan on wearing them with socks so hopefully they will still have plenty of room. Will update if not the case.

i want to add that the style and leather of the shoes are lovely. it’s not their fault that my feet and these cute shoes don’t get along.

As mentioned in a previous review, as of Feb 2020 the photo does not match the shoes. I called to verify that there is not any elastic (because I really don’t like the way that looks), and was assured the shoes match the photos—they do not. I hope this will be corrected ASAP because now I have to deal with a return. Also, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, the nude interior color is visible at the seam when the shoes are on. This is also a dealbreaker for me. I gave them 4 stars for comfort based solely on expectations since I didn’t wear them more than 10 seconds. Unfortunately, that was a required field to submit my review.

The Kayla compared to the Keli and Debra: I ordered all three in 38 wide (8-8.5), and the Kayla is the only one that truly felt wide. The Keli almost passed the comfort test but the Debra was terribly tight and painful. I have totally normal-width feet except for my bunions / hammer toe (I’m 135 lbs and 5’6″), so I always have order wide. I just wish I could have the Kayla fit with a closed heel. I walked up and down the halls for a good half hour. At first I thought the half heel height would drive me nuts, and it pulled my socks down. But as the shoe began to mold to my feet, my socks stayed put. And even though I still noticed my heel coming out and touching back on the shoe with every step, it stopped bothering me. They’re actually incredibly comfortable without socks, but I don’t think I would wear them that way. However, my feet got really hot; they don’t really breathe at all. I have never been someone who’s bothered by my feet getting too hot, but that certainly happened with these. I don’t really know if they’ll work for 12-hour shifts. And if somebody actually really does have hot feet that bother them, these would definitely not work. I’m a little concerned that after that half hour walking up and down the hallway, there are some noticeable ripples in the uppers that will likely become solid creases (see photo). I still want to keep them because I’ve tried a whole bunch of different shoes that are highly recommended for long shift workers, and nothing has worked. (I’m one of those nurses who just wears running shoes.) But I am a little worried from what others have said that these won’t hold up.

Great shoes and really felt comfortable from the moment I put on. Recovering from hammer toe surgery and needed a wider toe box shoe. Highly recommend and went with my usual size 8.
