The fit is a bit large for me. The leather is beautifully soft and I love that the edge of the shoe is a single layer so it does not hurt my bunions. I love the belle alegria but wish so much they would make the upper edge of the shoe without the rolled edge. Please, please made them with a smooth edge. I am deciding between two different sizes with the alegria Haylo. This shoe would be the most perfect shoe for me if the heel was 1/2″ lower and there was no strap. Really, the perfect shoe.

This shoe does run large in length and width. Going down 1/2 size is perfect for me. I bought the dream fit stretch and it is so elegant and the fit is beautiful. It does not stretch loose like some where every toe outline shows. It has a firm stretch that gives where you need it, and shapes your foot beautifully. So well made and very, very elegant. Heel height is great, but I would prefer 1/2 inch lower. Can be dressed up or down. This shoe is outstanding in workmanship, materials,looks, fit and style.

Comfy and cute. I haven’t worn them out yet. I didn’t expect these to have a Velcro closure —I hope it holds up. Something stronger like a snap would’ve felt more secure. I feel these run true to size. I’m an almost wide but technically medium 8.5, and I like to wear a 9 because my feet like extra room. So with that in mind these 9s, may be slightly roomy, but they’re not fitting a half size bigger in my experience. Looking forward to wearing them.. they have a nice arch support and what feels like excellent cushion.

Unfortunately, these shoes were just too big. I tried a half size smaller, as well as a whole size smaller, but nothing worked. I am so sorry because this is a really great style.

So comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear 8.5 US size, and opted for the 9. Fits perfectly. I was looking for a Mary Jane style and found it with this shoe. Just hoping over time that the Velcro will hold up.
