I bought a pair of these shoes on sale in Seattle. Never have I owned a more comfortable working shoe. I really feel that when my feet feel good, my whole body feels good! I am long past the age of caring if they look Snazzy, just know that these shoes are worth the expense, I walk about 10 miles a day as a floor nurse. These shoes won’t disappoint, worth every penny spent!

I needed a shoe that has good support, and I think I found it! Finally!

These are really pretty, but the top leather on the left shoe rubs me and hurts. I think it’s just the particular cut on the shoe because I have these in the plain black leather, and they are wonderful. I may order another pair of the embossed to see if they are any smoother.

I love Alegria shoes. They always provide comfort and style. I have flat feet, and they accommodate my feet just fine. I find that I always trip when I wear these, and I’m not sure if it’s me or the shoes, but I love them anyway. They were perfect for my nursing class, we have to wear all white leather shoes. So glad I bought them!!!

I got these in the multi-colored design, and they are so-o cool, but they ran just a bit big. I wanted to love them, but in size 11 in the multi-color, I looked like I had clown shoes on.

I loved the look of this shoe. It’s really beautiful and well made, but the heel slipped with every step I took. So sorry I have to return it.

I recently purchased my first pair of Alegria shoes due to having plantar fasciitis and needing something with excellent arch support. These shoes have helped my foot so much, that I have now purchased my third pair. It’s so easy to order from Zappos, the selection is great, and the best part is the customer services. I would highly recommend these shoes, and ordering from Zappos! Returns are a cinch too. I had to exchange on of my pairs for a different style.

These shoes were comfy and cute (although I wasn’t crazy about the butterfly) but ran very large. As the third pair of shoes I tried in a week, I decided to abandon the online route this time and go into a store- don’t usually have such a hard time fitting shoes. I think these may have worked a size down, but I didn’t feel like keeping up the return dance to find out.

I purchased my first pair of Alegria shoes 2 weeks ago. I have severe nerve damage and arthritis in one foot and spurs on both of my heels. When I say they help…they help! I am going to buy me 2 more pair this weekend…early Christmas gift to myself.

I was trying to make a switch from Danskos to Alegria due to awesome reviews from my coworkers. I purchased the Debra as they have a back and the entire front is enclosed. I ended up returning this pair due to the fact the back of shoe was eating my heel alive. I purchased the same size I wear in Danskos. I ended up getting a backless pair and love them. The arch support is great in this shoe and it’s comfortable, you just may need to consider going a size up.

I love these shoes. I’m an RN in the OR and work a ten hour shift…sometimes more. Very comfortable. No real wear in period. Not as hard as Danskos. Much prefer these to other “nursing shoes” I’ve tried.

I have been searching for comfortable shoes for work, and I thought these would be what I was looking for, but they are not. They are too tight across the top of my foot. They are going back.

I love them! They are my new “old faithfuls”. I have spent plenty of money on clogs, and I finally found the best of the best.

I wear a 38, so that’s what I ordered. They were huge. I went down to a 37, and they still were big and very wide. They are a bit stiff and made in China.

I love these shoes. I had trouble with Danskos because they were tight across the top of my foot causing excruciating pain toward the end of my shifts.
These are sturdy and comfortable with a memory foam insole that molds to your foot.
Only complaint is they’re boxy.

I got the friends pattern… and it is super cute! The cushiony support is great. I hate Danskos because they just killed my feet even after a break-in period. These I wore right out of the box. However, the top of the shoe was really tight across my foot. I cut the elastic on each side to give just a little more give and tried stuffing them full of socks to stretch that part a little. Also, they have started squeaking some when I walk. I bought foot powder to see if that helps because my feet do sweat. I wear them for 12 hours with no problem besides that. And the top has loosened up. I think it’s because I have a high arch. I am a size 6 and the Euro 36 is perfect.

I *ove these shoes – black, with the embossed rose design. So pretty! They were very snug at first – made my feet hot & I was very aware of them the first few days I wore them. But once I broke them in they fit me very well and are very comfortable. Even more so than Danskos because they fit my high arch and wide feet so much better. My only complaint: they are so noisy! They creak and squeak and in a quiet finance department work environment everyone knows I’m coming. I still wear them and enjoy them but if I could change/tweak one thing it’d be to make them quieter when I walk.

I love Alegria shoes. The most comfortable I have ever had and I always buy expensive shoes because my feet are particular. This model the Debra just does not fit. It is tight across the top of my foot and the heel slips badly. I am going to reorder a different model of Alegria because this brand is so amazing. The other pairs I have are just amazing. And their styles are so fun!

This review is for the Sugar Skull Alegria Debra shoes. I love Alegria shoes and they last forever except for the support which last longer than most other brands. I wore the Sugar Skull shoes to work office job 8 hours and to my niece’s memorial and they look terrible the paint just came off see pictures. I bought my sister the cat ones when her cat passed away and I wonder why she never wore them. I know now she was just too polite to tell me so I asked her after my experience with the skulls she said she wore them for a week which is 5 more days than I got. I’m 62 years old I don’t drag my toes when walking.

The Alegria Debra Professional has a loose fit but not a half size difference where I would size up or down. I buy most shoes in size 8 and wide width. I bought these in regular width size 38 (8-8.5) and they fit loosely, not hugging my heel. I can comfortably wear thin or mid weight socks and still have some wiggle room. I had to get used to the weight of this brand as I have mostly worn Crocs. The Alegria seemed so clunky I almost decided to abandon wearing them, but within a week of wearing them morning til night my feet begged me to keep them. Oh, I’m a nurse and a retired school teacher, so my feet have taken a lot of abuse. I can walk all day in them if I need to or I can stand for hours. I also ordered a pair of Paloma size 38 in wide width and returned them because they were too loose. My next pair is going to be a pair of Paloma 38 regular. I liked the way the strap of the Paloma minimized the slippage of my foot. I will probably buy another Debra or other Alegria in the future. Oh, the cork insole does squeak, you can remove it and bend it back and forth and that helps. Putting baby powder under the insole helps, too. My photo is of summer wear with thin support stockings. I gave the Overall 4 stars because of the squeak which really doesn’t bother me but might bother someone else. 5 stars for Style because they are complimented at any medical facility I visit either as a patient, visitor, or worker. I wear them with skinny jeans, tunics and leggings, and even shorts (at home). Comfort is 5 because my feet and legs approve!

I’m a traveling art teacher, and am on my feet all day. I was recently diagnosed with metetarsalgia (achiness/pain below toe joints on ball of foot) on the bottom of my right foot. Was googling it and came upon a list of the 10 best shoes to wear. These shoes were on the list, and are fantastic. They felt a little off when I first tried them on- I thought they were large, but it’s the cut – wierdly roomy and snug at the same time. Very supportive in all the right places, and they take the weight completely off the ball of the foot. I got a black print, not the ones pictured above. My feet and posture felt great all day!

The Alegria Debra Professional are my new favorite shoes! They’re super comfortable and the thick sole projects my feet. (I have a healing broken toe and can’t wear overly flexible soles at all.) The curved sole makes walking feel easier – in fact, very comfortable for both walking and standing (cooking). I got the Treasure style first and basically loved them so much – but want to save them for dressier occasions – that I bought the Sugar Skulls to wear around the house, specially while sewing (working the treadle). I normally wear a true size 9 1/2 in all shoes but Converse (9). I tried the Alegria Debras in size 39 and found them to be decidedly too tight. I have narrow heels but wide feet across the top and the shape and fit of these is just perfect in the 40.

LOVE this design. It’s my second pair of Alegria. I’m an RN and on my feet all day. My feet and legs don’t hurt after a long day at work. Well worth the money.

I am rather in love with these “Keli” and the “Debra” Alegria Professional shoes. Prior to these, for the past 2 years I have been wearing a walking sneaker with custom made orthotics to work. Obviously a sneaker doesn’t look professional in an office environment. I have “trauma induced arthritis” from hitting a tree while zip lining and the top of my foot to the toe hurts like crazy in most shoes – even with my orthotic, when I try to do any serious walking. My foot doctor suggested I try a “rocker bottom shoe.” When I googled Alegria was one of the brands that came up which I had never heard of. I tried both the Keli and Debra and love them. I have only had them for about 2 weeks. Initially the Keli was more comfortable out of the box as it is made of a lighter fabric around the upper of the shoe. However, my go to has become the Debra as it is a bit sturdier. I initially was going to send the Debra back but it loosened up nicely with no pinching or bleeding at the ankles/heel. Of note, the Debra looks better with capri pants as it elongates the leg/foot more. Both shoes have very good support and my feet actually are feeling great without my orthotics. I am a very happy customer of this brand. Thank you!
