Love the shoes, but I needed to order 2 sizes over my reg size (short box feet). Also the catalog from Alegria said they have w width. When I called I found out you can order a less thick insole which gives extra toe room, one can hope. We’ll see.

I love Alegria shoes. I have like 5 pair. I wear these all day in the operating room where I’m on my feet all day. They are not only stylish, but very comfortable on my feet! There is no breaking in period either! The first time you put them on, it feels like you’ve walked in them for weeks.

Absolutely love these! I’m a nurse so I’m on my feet all day. These have zero break-in time which is a blessing. The color is tons of fun and matches anything and everything. I also like that you can wipe them off/disinfect them. Another feature that is amazing is that you can take out the footbed and replace it for around $20…instant rejuvenation! I would recommend these to anyone who works on their feet, especially nurses!

I was attracted to these shoes because they are so shiny and pretty. But I hesitated because of the wide style. Well, they have hardly come off of my feet since I bought them. They are so comfy and fun! I just love them! The Tortoise color is subtle and fabulous. A perfect choice if you like “different”.

I am in love with Alegria shoes. I bought my first pair online without ever having tried them on – I took a chance out of desperation. I have very serious foot problems, and am constantly looking for a comfortable shoe, and am almost always disappointed. Alegria is the first shoe I have worn in years, the first day I wore then,when I didn’t think about my feet all day! What started with one pair has now turned into something of a collection. I just ordered the black rose, to add to my growing collection of 14 pairs. These shoes are not for everyone, as they are a bit chunky looking, and frankly, not very stylish, although I do think the fun colors and patterns help get me past that. They make my feet happy and comfortable, mostly pain free, and that is more important to me than looks. I think that anyone who has suffered from painful foot conditions, especially very flat feet, will love these shoes.

I bought the brilliant snake and really like them. One side (my larger foot) was tight across the instep, but I wore them and they fit perfect now. Light weight, comfortable and great looking.

Shoe is much cooler in person. Sadly, my wider foot doesn’t fit…don’t know if ordering a bigger size might have helped, but would reconsider buying if these came in a wide width as well.

This is my first time buying Alegrias and I have to say I am very impressed! The comfort is amazing! My only complaint is that when I wear them out in public I get bombarded by people asking me “where did you get those cool shoes?”

Finally! Shoes that do not hurt my feet. I have bought 35 pairs of comfort shoes in the past two years because of painful arches. If I find something that does not hurt my feet, then my back, knees, or hips hurt. That is not so with Alegria! From day one, these shoes felt like Heaven to walk in. I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot and a bunion on my left, so I have always had the problem of all shoes hurting one of my feet somewhere, but these do not. I just bought my second pair and look forward to buying many more. The colors and prints are so fun, and they look great with everything. You have got to get these!

These are wonderful shoes and are the only ones that even remotely help (or at least don’t aggravate) my plantar fasciitis. I get tons of compliments on them and no one has ever called them “Frankenstein shoes” – at least not to my face. On the European / USA sizing discussion: My feet are between a 9.5 and a 10 (leaning towards the 10 end of the spectrum) and I always wear a size 40 in European shoes. A 41 (which according to most conversion tables is a size 10) is huge on my feet. I agree with Zappos conversion table rather than with Alegria’s (or Birkenstocks or …). There are always exceptions, of course. But in this case, in the Alegria Classic clogs, a size 40 fits my size 10 feet perfectly (with or without socks). There is plenty of toe room (square toe box). The shoes run wider than most regular width shoes I’ve tried (other than Birkenstock). I’d not classify them as a true “wide width” shoe, however. I’d say they are average width, on the roomy side. (They probably won’t work well for those with truly narrow feet.) I’m glad for the roominess, as my feet tend to swell from standing 10 hours or more a day.

These are the best shoes I have ever bought. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and both ankles. I work on tile and concrete and although I get tired and painful no matter what, these shoes have made my life a million times better. I love these shoes!

I was stunned at how cute and comfortable these clogs are. I bought the fabric and patent leather in black, they are like little magic shoes. I mean it. I feel like I am walking on very pretty little clouds. Up until I received them, my feet were so miserable that I sort of whimpered all day, ouch, my bunion, ouch my arch, you know how it is. A friend shared her positive experience since changing to Alegria shoes and I was really needing some shoes with arch support. These are the best shoes I have ever put on my feet. Now, I have two pairs and will be buying another pair. At the end of the day, I found my back and hip didn’t hurt.

Third pair of Alegria, I ordered the Frida. This is not only super comfortable, but the print is symmetrical. What? When I look down at my shoes I noted that the print is reversed. Example: the large purple and pink heart on the right pinkie toe is the same (but flipped) on the left pinkie toe. This takes extra planning on the shoemaker. Frida looks great with black, purple, or rose. I teach and my students went wild for these ageless shoes.

I can’t say I’m in love with the look–they are a bit clunky–but these are really comfortable clogs for my high-arch, double-A sensitive feet. I tightened the buckle, I wear them with thin socks, and they were comfortable from the get-go. I also love that they are extremely stable–I’ve had problems turning my ankles in some styles of clog but i feel completely anchored in these. So I’m willing to put up with the look for the comfort/stability these afford. (The look is great for jeans/informal, but it doesn’t jibe with my skirts…)

Got this shoe in the sophistisnake charcoal and have worn them as my slip on shoe to yoga class for 3 weeks. Super duper comfortable for my narrow foot with high arches. Have received lots of compliments on them too. Also, went camping for 4 days on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and they ended up being my shoe of choice for the whole camping trip. Even hiked the Linville Falls trail with 2 basset hounds and it was very comfortable. These are big shoes — and I usually do not wear big shoes — but because of the flower design they look more prissy than some of the other colors. Love the adjustable buckle that you can loosen for socks and tighten for bare feet. This is just an excellent slip on shoe, comfortable for walking, camping, and lounging around.

These shoes are just plain wild! With the beautiful shiny blue, yellow and reddish-orange bird pattern, they are not only sparkly for me to admire, but they also make a statement to others. I’m not sure that it’s a positive one that makes me look cool, but at age 68, I care more about how my feet feel. With this Alegria clog style, my arthritic and surgically corrected feet are totally in love! There’s even a great arch support and no toes rub on the end. Based on others’ reviews about the shoe running large, I bought a 39, a size smaller for me with my feet that run somewhere between an 8.5 and 9. (Left foot is 9, right is 8.5) When I figured out that there is a REAL adjustable buckle, I was ecstatic, because I tightened them up fully and now they fit me well and stay on my foot without sloshing around in the heel area. I think this means that I have a pretty narrow heel, as most other shoes with just a Velcro adjustment look strange when I have to tighten the strap so much there’s almost no Velcro to fasten it on, and the straps stick down and out noticeably. I anticipate wearing these shoes mostly around the house and with shorts or jeans in the summer-like temps we live in while in Florida in the winter and western NC in the summer. With their rocker-type bottoms, I feel that I’m standing up a little straighter when walking. With my neuropathy in both feet these shoes (being a little clunky) tend to help me remember to carefully pick up my feet while walking so that I don’t trip. I’ve had these shoes for two days now and except for bed and the shower, haven’t removed them yet-they’re just that comfortable and user-friendly!
