This shoe was a nice fit, however because of the soft top, it showed all the lumps and bumps of my foot. Was not a smooth look. Too bad for me 🙁 Kudos to Zappos for having the best return policy EVER.
I rated the shoe a 5 even tho it was not the right materials/fit for my foot.

I am wearing these right now! I had to buy new shoes for a job where I am on my feet 50% of the time. Thi is the first time I bought this particular style . This is by far my new favorite. A wide toe-box to fit my arthritic toes, fairly decent traction, true to color, and comfortable with socks. I would buy a second pair in another color…

I loved the style of this shoe. The knit/leather combination is a great concept. Unfortunately the shoe came in 9-9.5 only. I am a True size 9 medium width, in majority of all shoe brands. This shoe was too big. I tried to put something in the toe area to take up the extra space but that didn’t work for me. I have so much trouble finding shoes my troubled feet can tolerate. I’m so disappointed. They were great shoes other than the sizing.

Love this shoe! Two years ago I broke my foot and my mid foot has since been fused. I have to wear shoes that provide enough support and shock absorption to my foot because of that. The Alegria Brenna is THE MOST comfortable shoe I’ve worn since that time! It’s not the most “stylish” shoe, but extremely comfortable!!! I wear a size 7-1/2 and got a 38 in this shoe. It’s a “tiny” bit big, but that allows me to wear socks and makes the comfort even better!

I wore Alegria sandals this summer and they were so comfy! I’ve had trouble finding a fall/winter style in this brand that would fit my high arches and wide feet. Then I met Brenna! With the stretch on top of my foot I had no issues getting into them. Only had them a few days but so far my feet are happy.

For the most part, these shoes are one of the more comfy for me. I have high insteps and neuropathy, not to mention wide feet. I know, not a pretty picture! To top it off I’m usually on my feet 6 to 9 hours a day. These shoes are great! And I love the quirky look…

These wonderful shoes fit perfectly right out of the box. They are supportive, lightweight and really cute. As nice with leggings and jeans as with dressier pants and skirts and tights. Honestly, they feel like house slippers – and they are so easy to put on and take off. And I love the stretchy leopard print top. SO cute – but better – so comfy!!

This is a really cute shoe. I purchased the color ‘Wilder’; black trimmed in grey. The grey color is a bit shimmery and oh so cute. I wear these shoes with or without socks. They were comfy from the very first day. I have lots of Alegria shoes and this one may be my favorite closed shoe. Versatile, comfy, well made….what more could I want?
The arch support is perfect. Love the velcro closure on the strap.

I have arthritis in my toes which makes buying comfortable shoes difficult. When these shoes arrived I slipped them on and they felt fantastic. It’s like walking on a cloud. The style is unique and versatile and I love everything about them. I have about 10 pair of Alegria shoes and they fit well but this shoe fits like it was designed for my feet.

Over the last decade I’ve shifted from wearing a size 5 most of my life to a 6. I followed the size recommendations on the site and purchased a size 6 wide. The shoe is too big, I’m going to exchange it for the smaller size. I have a short wide foot with stubby squared off toes. There is about .75 inch of shoe above my toes and a finger’s width between my heel and the shoe. The wide width seems good, not too wide. I love the shoe. I can feel the solid arch support and sturdy footbed. I got the Peaceful Easy brown color and it is beautiful. The fabric is very pretty and somewhat subtle. It blends well with the color of the leather. The effect is sort of funky elegant. The top strap is Velcro so it is easy to adjust it over your forefoot. Excellent shoe, love it.

I ordered the Brenna in the Moonshadow color. I love the style. I already have it in a different color and wide width. Wide was not available in this color so I gambled and ordered the shoe in regular width. It fits perfectly. I guess it’s slightly less roomy than wide, but the difference does not feel very significant. Although they are fabulously supportive and comfortable I am returning these. The glittery color is kind of rainbow colored in the light and I don’t prefer that, although some people might. Overall a great shoe for us wide footed people.

Ordered these in a dressier color & finish for outside of work. Have been wearing Alegria shoes for years & they are a godsend. I have flat, wide feet from treading the hospital floors for 39 years. They are lightweight, pretty, & have great support for my feet. Don’t look like Nurse Wratched shoes. I even have some that I wear on my days off, they’re comfortable all day long.

The soft, brown velvet vamp doesn’t hurt my broken toe and the rocker sole supports my arthritic feet. I think it is a cute and comfortable style, so I also ordered it in black 8.5. I had to exchange the first brown shoe in size 9 for an 8.5 because they were too long. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes. I don’t think you need to go up a 1/2 size in the Brenna if you are between whole sizes. I recommend you buy your normal size. I’m going to spray the velvet so it won’t get wet walking outside in Oregon.

This is a very comfortable and beautiful shoe. It does not have the thicker, classic Alegria sole. This is good to know because it is hard to see in the photos. I have many pairs of Allegros as they are the only shoe which stabilizes my posture and reduces my leg and hip pain.
